What is it?

Artsicle is an NYC-based company that offers artwork for rent for your office space. Their artists are all based out of the New York City metro area, so while you won’t be able to rent any Picassos, you’ll be supporting the local artistic community.

How does it work?

Artsicle offers custom curation. A member of the Artsicle team will come to your office space, discuss what you’re interested in, handpick artwork that’s appropriate for the space and the company, and install the art. If you want to encourage your employees’ artistic appreciation, Artsicle can also help coordinate a meet-and-greet in your office with the artist and your team.

Monthly prices for the custom curation vary depending on the square footage of the space and size of the pieces, but if you like what you’re renting and want to make the pieces a permanent part of your company, the artwork is also available for purchase. If you’re just interested in renting artwork, without the custom curation, prices range from $25 to $95 per month, depending on the size of the artwork.

MyPaintTeam

What is it?

MyPaintTeam offers office painting services, but they go beyond the traditional color palette. The company can also create murals and graffiti art to liven up your office walls.

How does it work?

MyPaintTeam’s services include everything from murals and graffiti art to logo replication, sign painting, and corporate branding. Once you’ve submitted the form on www.mypaintteam.com for an estimate, one of the MyPaintTeam staff will meet with you for a walkthrough of the space and to discuss the type of art you want—and where you want to put it. The artists can help you finalize your design, as well as create mock-ups, although having at least a general idea of the style of artwork you want usually works out best for both you and the artists.

MyPaintTeam will travel throughout the Tri-State area, and their work can usually be completed in between one and four days. Prices vary depending on the size and complexity of the project, but a standard 10 foot by 8 foot wall mural for an office space would start at about $650. You’ll receive a quote within 24 hours of the walkthrough.
