Want Next-Day Package Delivery at Great Prices? Here's How...

The cheaper alternative for next day delivery

Need a package delivered by the next day to New  Jersey or Connecticut but don’t want to pay ridiculously high prices for express services? In the tri-state area, you have a variety of options. UPS, FedEx and DHL all offer ground shipping services that guarantee that “local” deliveries will get there by the end of the next day.

If the exact time of delivery is not important and you just need your goods to arrive by the next day, you can save yourself up to $40 per package, depending on the weight and location of your package. UPS, FedEx and DHL all use different location ranges (zones) for next-day delivery with ground shipments, but in order to qualify for next-day delivery in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut, you must be sending within Zone 2. This refers to locations within most of the tri-state area. (See www.ups.com/maps/results,www.fedex.com/grd/maps/MapEntry.do and www.dhl.com  for exact locations and restrictions). Pricing is also determined by these zones, which means it costs the same to deliver a package from one Manhattan location to another one block away as it does to deliver a package from Manhattan to Central New Jersey.

Below is the price guide for a 1-lb. package sent within the tri-state area (Zone 2).
