The New York Enterprise Report is always seeking new contributors. Contributors should be experts in their fields---lawyers, accountants, business owners and operators, bankers, executives, and other professionals, with a preference to contributors who have been previously published. Contributors will benefit by receiving priceless exposure to New York Metro small and middle market businesses. Contributor's bio and email addresses are included at the end of each article.

Report Disclaimer for Article Submissions

Although our experts write for our magazine gratis (and we greatly appreciate the contribution), in order to maintain our high standards, it is crucial that our contributors understand the editorial process at The Report.

Articles that are submitted must be written extremely well, in clear, precise and “how-to” prose, and be written in consumer magazine style (that is, written for the layman, with little or no business jargon). Even then, a great deal of editing and re-writing on the part of the contributor is often warranted. We’d appreciate it if all our writers understand the time commitment involved in this process before querying us with article proposals.

Article Guidelines

  • Article should be written for small and medium sized business who often do not have all the resources generally available to managers of larger firms with respect to implementation.
  • Whenever possible, articles should be written specifically for New York metro area businesses.
  • Articles should suggest action to the reader that goes above and beyond the obvious and what is available elsewhere - HOW not just WHAT.
  • Contributors MUST be experts in the topic in which they are writing about.
  • Case studies or references to real world scenarios are preferred.
  • Articles CANNOT have been previously published.

Submission Guidelines

Queries and ideas should be submitted to the editor,  via email (contributor@nyreport.com).
