Ryan MacCarrigan, VP Marketing, Lean Startup Machine

Thursday, June 28th @ 7 - 8:30 PM

"The minimum viable product is that version of a new product which allows a team to collect the maximum amount of validated learning about customers with the least effort." -Eric Ries

Don't waste weeks or months on buiding something that nobody wants! Learn how to release quickly for the purpose of achieving a product-market fit. Thousands of students have gone through the Lean Startup Machine workshops, where hundreds of teams developed and tested their minimum viable products (MVPs). Drawing on these examples and theoretical foundations from Eric Ries, Brant Cooper, Steve Blank, and others, this class will focus on dissecting how an MVP should be planned and executed to get the most effective and efficient learnings for your startup.

Learn successful MVPs from Lean Startup Machine:

•How and why should MVP's be leveraged as part of the validated learning process?

•What are the four most common types of MVP's that teams use at Lean Startup Machine?

•What are some notable or creative examples from LSM?

Pre-requisites: While you can learn this material in the abstract, ideally you are currently working on a startup or have worked on a startup in the past.

Lean Startup Machine’s Credentials Ryan MacCarrigan organizes and hosts Lean Startup Machine, an intensive workshop that helps innovators build successful Minimum Viable Products. He has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs develop, test and iterate their MVPs using lean methodologies. He is a co-organizer of the NYC Lean Startup Meetup and host of Ignite: Lean Startup at Pivotal Labs. Ryan is also a co-organizer of UNCUBED (formerly the Silicon Alley Talent Fair), the largest startup recruiting event in NYC.
