Mom and Daughters Inc

Moms & Daughters Inc is a workshop that pairs Moms (and Mother figures) with their daughters (or mentees) to learn about entrepreneurship in a fun interactive way. The pairs engage in a workshop to learn how to start, run and develop a business. It’s a collaborative space where pairs learn how to think like entrepreneurial ladies.

There are two featured simulations that will take place during this workshop.

The first is Small Biz Savvy Lady - A Business Simulator - A fun interactive game with you, your daughter and 2-3 Mother-Daughter pairs experiencing the highs and lows of a business cycle including

• Developing a Product

• Pricing and Sales Strategy

• Budgeting

• Strategic planning and forecasting

The second simulation is the The Bake Off. Mom and Daughter teams sell baked goods in a simulated environment to test their marketing, negotiation and sales skills. Participants will leave with improved skills in

*Taking strategic risks

*Delivering powerful presentations

*Personal finances and business budgeting

*Personal branding - especially sharing values you can bring to a professional environment

Who Can Attend?

*Moms must be 18 or older

*Daughters can be as young as 10 but must be comfortable working in a multi-generational room

*Note - You do not need to be related

What do I need to bring?

*An open mind and willingness to be creative

*12 baked goods + napkins for the "Bake Off" simulation (store brought are fine!)
